THE KIWI COUNTDOWN BEGINS....

The Kiwis are 32 weeks (32+1 to be exact) -- and our preparation continues ...

We bought a new car this past week!  It's a Nissan Murano -- AWD, of course, so that Dad's mind will be at ease and both car seats fit with some room to spare.  

Aunt Rachel was able to come to the girls most recent ultrasound and gave her thumbs up on how the girls were doing.  Both remain head down and are (or were 1 week ago) about 3.5 lbs a piece.  That puts the girls in about the 35 percentile for size and that is GREAT NEWS for twins!  The girls are projected to put on about 1/2 lb. each week until they are delivered.  Let's hope that projection comes to fruition.  The girls are both pretty active.  I feel them moving a lot; not tons of kicks but a lot of wiggles and shifting.  One of the girls has already "dropped" too, so it's possible these munchkins will be making a slightly earlier appearance than thought.  We'll see though!  Still hoping to get as close to 38 weeks as we can, so T minus 6 weeks (at most) ...

                                             


We were also able to hang out with a long time friend of ours that was visiting from Philly!  Always great to hang with Rachel!
